Seasave

Preserving strict environmental requirements

The uniqueness with the solutions is that the handling of sediments is a combination of mobilization, separation and disposal. Therefore, complete distribution control and terminal stabilization of the masses is achieved.

The Seasave equipment used is designed to be easily integrated with the technologies that are currently utilized in the industry, especially those in offshore drilling activities. Seasave team puts together unique prototype systems, enabling Seasave to offer both custom made solutions via standardized and industry accepted approaches. We collaborate with clients and subcontractors to provide the customer with a set of best cost effective solutions. We offer services on a project basis.

We provide effective project management and skilled personnel to manage projects through planning, construction and completion phases. Customers will get a complete service package through Seasave’s close cooperation with subcontractors, including equipment and personnel if required.

Oil and Gas

Seasave's technologies are suitable as an add-on to the systems that are currently used in the handling of drill cuttings offshore. A common task that can benefit from Seasave product is the discharge of cuttings, in addition to many others; whether it is top-hole cuttings or discharge of cuttings from the rig, the Seasave technology can minimize or avoid the spread of particles and confine the waste on a small footprint. The capacity of the technology is compatible to the dynamic operational requirements that apply when large amounts of cuttings are generated.

Generally, O&G industry faces challenges associated with drill cuttings handling in deep water drilling, drilling in environmentally sensitive areas and drilling in ice-covered areas.
Seasave technologies can aid the industry to meet their objectives to not pollute. The challenges associated with the return of cuttings to the rig and further transport to the shore can be significantly reduced through the use of beforementioned technologies: moreover, the associated benefits are enormous. The technology, overall, performs better with respect to the environmental impacts and reduces risks associated with future pollution liability.

Seasave is working on an entirely new concept for the complete handling and disposal of cuttings offshore. The concept is envisioned to lead the logistical challenges for transportation of the drilling waste to be reduced and the cuttings disposal to be efficiently and safely done.

Coastline sediment recovery

There are many similarities between the general subsea handling of contaminated sediments and cuttings. The generic Seasave systems are therefore suitable for coastal cleanup and pollution control projects.

It is a fact that most harbour areas where industrial activity has taken place over time are severely polluted. The damage potential of industrial contaminants is large and immediate measures are required to mitigate the existing problem.

The current technology used in coastal cleanup enterprises is faced with the problem of spread of contaminants while collecting the sediments for further treatment. Likewise, it is often difficult to decontaminate the sediments in a practical and cost-effective fashion.

The Seasave systems can improve current performance of cleanup operations, by using the proprietary collection and separation technology, and further stabilization by a unique cement and concrete technology.
